SCROLL DOWN

Jim Larkin

Electric and Upright Bassist

Boston Bassist

Starting in Mrs Capo's 4th grade trailer, Jim Larkin has developed his natural sense of rhythm studying with Dave Livolsi (John Scofield, Jazz is Dead), Ron Ciaburri (Johnny Cash, B.B. King), Mike Rivard (Boston Pops, Club D'elf) and most recently with New Orleans great Jonny Vidacovitch.

Jim is seemingly playing with everyone around town and making them all sound a million times better as a result. A super tasteful player playing multiple instruments and doing extremely well in many musical forms.

Session and Live Drummer

"Larkin is a one man rhythm section. Equally as talented and genius on both the drums and the bass, the man is just incredible. He played both the upright and the drums on this recording. Luckily, you can overdub in this day and age." - Redline Roots
